- Does JEXXA send my voice to the cloud?
- No. The speech model runs on your Mac itself. Audio and transcripts are never uploaded, so nothing you say leaves your Mac.
- Does JEXXA work offline?
- Yes. Dictation needs no internet connection at all. JEXXA only goes online to check your subscription and to offer updates.
- How is JEXXA different from cloud dictation apps?
- Cloud dictation sends every word you say to someone else's server and waits for it to come back. JEXXA turns speech into text on your Mac: private by design, working without a connection, and never slowed by a busy server.
- Which apps can I dictate into?
- Any app where you can type. Hold the key, speak, and your words appear at the cursor: in mail, documents, chat, notes, your editor or your browser.
- Which Macs can run JEXXA?
- Macs with Apple silicon on macOS 14 or later. Choose JEXXA for 16 GB of memory or more, or JEXXA Small for 8 GB. Their performance is almost identical.
- How much does JEXXA cost?
